Museumsnacht

Museumsnacht Basel is an annual event where museums across the city stay open late into the night. In a collaborative project between the AnDiCoLab from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) and the Naturhistorisches Museum Basel, a series of interactive spaces were designed to engage diverse visitors. Among these was the Fire and Water room, featuring dynamic lighting, immersive soundscapes, and effects such as low fog, creating a unique and interactive experience.

The Visual
Representation
of Taste

This booklet explores how the five basic tastes—sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami—can be visually represented through typefaces, colours, and shapes. A clean and curated layout forms a dynamic design with bold compositions, movement, and clear hierarchy, visually presenting taste through experimental typographic design.

Mario Comensoli: “Uomini in Blu

Published in conjunction with the exhibition held at Spazio Officina, Chiasso, Swizerland. This catalogue explores Mario Comensoli’s pivotal “Uomini in Blu” period (1955–1962), part of the broader celebrations for the centenary of the Lugano-born artist.
Centred on the symbolic blue tones of work uniforms worn by Italian immigrants in post-war Chiasso, the catalogue captures the monumental yet emotive depictions of labourers, their daily lives, and familial reunions.
